A cooperative of tourism organizations across Northern Ontario have assembled a comprehensive list of exciting new shore excursions designed to appeal to your cruise guests.
They will discover remote regions and get up close and personal with the breathtaking natural environment. In addition to engagement with extraordinary wildlife, hands-on Indigenous encounters and local cultures, the new opportunities include immersive behind the scenes experiences, cooking and photography classes, geology adventures and much more.
We’ve also developed this set of icons to quickly identify areas of interest.
The dynamic cooperative includes Parry Sound, the deepest freshwater port in the world; Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world; Killarney, the world-renowned gem of Huron’s North Channel; Algoma Country, considered Ontario’s premier adventure destination; Superior Country, the breathtaking North Shore Inside Passage; Thunder Bay, home of one of Canada’s great natural wonders.
